This Privacy Policy describes how NgheRo.Vn (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application Bubble Level & Camera Angle (“the App”) and related services.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the App, including paid features and disclaimers.

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. The information we process or collect depends on which features you choose to use.

In summary, this may include:

  • Motion sensor data, such as accelerometer and orientation readings, processed locally on your device to provide level, angle, and plumb measurement features
  • Camera images, used only when you enable camera mode or capture an angle photo
  • Photos you choose from your library, only if you attach one to a support message
  • Saved measurement data, such as saved level, angle, flatness, or camera measurement results, stored locally on your device
  • Device and usage information, such as device model, OS version, app version, feature usage, crash logs, and diagnostic data
  • Push notification information, such as a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, if notifications are enabled for support replies or app messages
  • Support request information, such as your message, attachments you choose to send, and a device-based identifier, only if you contact us for support
  • Purchase information, such as product ID, transaction ID (iOS) or purchase token (Android), and purchase status, when you buy or restore the one-time Lifetime purchase

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contact list, microphone audio, or precise location to use the core measuring features of the App.

2. Motion Sensor and Measurement Data

The App uses your device’s motion sensors, such as the accelerometer and orientation sensors, to calculate level, angle, plumb, and flatness measurements.

This sensor data is processed locally on your device in real time. We do not upload raw motion sensor readings to our servers.

If you save a measurement result, the App may store related information locally on your device, such as the measured angle, date, mode, or label. You can delete saved results using the App’s available controls or by clearing app data on your device.

Measurements provided by the App depend on your device hardware, calibration, environment, and how the device is held. They are provided for general utility purposes and should not be treated as professional engineering, construction, or safety certification.

3. Camera and Photos

The App may request access to your device’s camera for the camera angle finder feature. Camera access lets you view guide lines over the live camera preview and capture photos with angle or level overlays.

Camera images are processed locally on your device for the feature you choose to use. We do not secretly take photos, and we do not upload camera photos to our servers unless you explicitly choose to send or share them through a feature that requires it.

When you capture a photo in camera mode, the App combines it with the guide overlay and saves the result to your device’s photo library. Screenshots taken from the level, plumb, and flat tools are saved inside the App’s own storage on your device, not to your photo library.

The App reads from your photo library only when you tap the attach button in support chat to choose a photo to send to us. Only the photo you select is accessed and uploaded.

You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

4. Local Settings and Saved Results

The App may store settings and saved results locally on your device, including:

  • Language preference
  • Tool settings and display preferences, such as units, decimal places, sound and vibration alerts, colors, and camera guide options
  • Calibration profiles for the level, flat, angle, and camera tools
  • Saved level, angle, flatness, or camera results, and screenshots from the measuring tools
  • Whether the Lifetime purchase has been unlocked on this device
  • Support chat messages, attachments, reply token, and unread count
  • Push notification token and a queue of pending notification-tap events
  • A device-generated random identifier used for analytics, diagnostics, backend requests, and support

This information helps the App remember your preferences, show saved measurements, and provide support.

Unless clearly stated otherwise inside the App, these settings and saved results are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

5. Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information

We may collect limited device, usage, and diagnostic information, such as:

  • App performance data
  • Crash logs
  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • Feature usage information, such as which screens you open, which buttons you tap, and app open/close events
  • Technical diagnostics needed to improve app stability
  • An app-generated random device identifier stored on your device

This information may be sent to Firebase services (Analytics and Crashlytics) and our own backend servers (api.nghero.vn) for analytics, crash reporting, purchase validation, notification tracking, and service improvement. We attach the app-generated identifier to Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics as a user ID so that events and crash reports from the same install can be matched. This helps us improve the App, fix bugs, improve performance, and provide a better user experience.

The app-generated identifier is not intended to identify you by name and is not linked by us to your Apple ID, Google account, advertising identifiers, or other cross-app tracking data.

6. Push Notifications

The App may use push notifications to deliver support replies or app-related messages. If enabled, the App may collect and register a Firebase Cloud Messaging token with our backend so messages can be delivered to your device.

When you tap a notification, the App may send limited notification click information to our backend, such as message ID, notification ID, app ID, timestamp, and device identifier. This is used to open the correct support conversation, track delivery behavior, and improve support reliability.

You can control notification permissions through your device settings.

7. Support Requests

If you contact us for support, we collect:

  • A device-generated identifier and signed request key, used only to authenticate your support session
  • Message content and any issue category you select
  • Image attachments you choose to include
  • App name, app version, platform, and OS version
  • A reply token or similar support-session value used to retrieve responses

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, troubleshoot problems, and improve our services.

8. Purchase Information

If the App offers paid features or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

When you buy or restore the Lifetime purchase, the App sends the transaction ID (iOS) or product ID, purchase token, and purchase time (Android), together with the app-generated device identifier, app ID, and app version, to our backend to validate the purchase and unlock the paid features. We receive limited purchase-related information, such as purchase status, product ID, and order ID or transaction ID.

This information is used to provide, unlock, manage, and restore paid features. Pricing and payment terms for the one-time Lifetime purchase are described in our Terms of Use.

9. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide the App’s measuring features, process sensor data locally, capture and save photos when you choose, store settings and saved results, improve performance and reliability, fix bugs and crashes, provide customer support, send support-related notifications, manage purchases if applicable, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

10. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Camera — used for the camera angle finder and photo capture with guide overlays.
  • Photo library — used to save captured camera-mode photos to your Photos library (add-only access), and to let you choose a photo to attach to a support message.
  • Vibration (Android) — used for the optional vibration alert when a surface is level. Sound and vibration alerts can be turned off in Settings.
  • Notifications — used to notify you about support replies or app-related messages.
  • Internet — used for analytics, crash reporting, support chat, notification registration, and backend communication.
  • Motion sensors — used to calculate level, angle, plumb, and flatness measurements.

We use permissions only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in the permission prompts shown by your device.

11. Third-Party Services

The App may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple App Store / Google Play, and our own backend servers to support core functionality such as analytics, crash reporting, support chat, notifications, purchases if applicable, and service improvement.

We recommend reviewing Apple’s, Google’s, and Firebase’s own privacy policies for more information about how they handle data.

12. Advertising

The App does not currently display third-party advertisements and does not use any advertising SDKs. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any additional permissions, such as App Tracking Transparency where required, before doing so.

13. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information only with service providers that help us operate, improve, or support the App; with payment processors or app stores if applicable; with analytics, messaging, or crash reporting providers; when required by law; or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the App, or others.

We do not share your saved measurement photos or local measurement results with third parties unless you explicitly choose to share, export, or send them.

14. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Motion sensor data used for real-time measurement is not stored by us. Saved measurements and captured photos may remain on your device until you delete them. Support chat messages and attachments may be retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records. Purchase-related information may be retained as needed to restore purchases, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Crash logs, analytics data, notification data, and diagnostic data may be retained for a limited period according to the policies of our service providers or our backend systems.

15. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in your country.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

16. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable practices.

17. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for certain processing where applicable.

You can also control app permissions, such as camera, photo, and notification access, through your device settings.

To make a privacy-related request, contact us using the contact information below.

18. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws.

Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect your information according to applicable privacy laws.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update the policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
