Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how NgheRo.Vn (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use our mobile applications and related services.

This Privacy Policy applies to the following applications:

  • Mic to Bluetooth Speaker
  • Hearing Aid App AI – ngHero

Together, these are referred to as “the Apps.”

By using the Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Apps, including subscriptions and disclaimers.

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. The information we process or collect depends on which App you use and which features you choose to enable.

In summary, this may include:

  • Microphone audio, processed locally on your device for real-time hearing and audio features (see Section 2)
  • Hearing-related settings, such as test results and amplification preferences, stored locally on your device (see Section 3)
  • Device and usage information, such as device model, OS version, app version, and crash/diagnostic data (see Section 4)
  • Purchase information, such as subscription status and transaction ID, received from the App Store or Google Play (see Section 5)
  • Support request information, such as your message and a device-based identifier, only if you contact us for support (see Section 6)

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact list to use the core features of the Apps. Each category above is explained in detail in the sections that follow.

2. Microphone Audio and Recordings

The Apps require access to your device’s microphone to provide real-time audio features, including microphone-to-speaker output, hearing assistance, sound amplification, noise reduction, audio enhancement, recording, and playback.

Mic to Bluetooth Speaker

Mic to Bluetooth Speaker uses microphone access to capture sound from your device’s microphone and play it in real time through a Bluetooth speaker, headphones, built-in speaker, or other supported audio output device.

The App may also allow you to record microphone audio and play it back later.

Hearing Aid App AI – ngHero

Hearing Aid App AI – ngHero uses microphone access to provide real-time hearing assistance, sound amplification, noise reduction, audio enhancement, hearing-related personalization, recording, playback, and related audio processing features.

Microphone audio is primarily processed locally on your device for real-time audio functionality.

We do not record microphone audio automatically or in the background.

If you choose to use the recording feature, the Apps may record microphone audio at your request. These recordings may be saved locally on your device so that you can play them back later.

Unless we clearly state otherwise inside the Apps:

  • We do not upload your microphone audio or recordings to our servers.
  • We do not sell your microphone audio or recordings.
  • We do not share your microphone audio or recordings with third parties.
  • We do not access your local recordings unless you choose to share, export, or send them.

You can delete recordings from your device using the Apps’ available controls or your device’s file management features, where applicable.

If an App provides cloud backup, cloud processing, sharing, or export features in the future, we will clearly explain how those features work and request any required permission before using them.

Hearing Aid App AI – ngHero may allow you to create hearing-related settings, profiles, preferences, or test results to personalize your listening experience.

This may include:

  • Hearing test results
  • Sound amplification preferences
  • Audio profile settings
  • Noise reduction preferences
  • Equalizer or sound enhancement settings
  • Device-specific hearing configuration

This information is used to personalize your experience and improve hearing assistance features.

Unless clearly stated otherwise inside the App, hearing-related information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

If account sync, backup, or cloud storage is introduced, we will clearly explain what data is uploaded and how it is used.

4. Device and Usage Information

We may collect limited device, usage, and diagnostic information, such as:

  • App performance data
  • Crash logs
  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • Feature usage information
  • Technical diagnostics needed to improve app stability

This information is sent to our own servers for license validation and service improvement. This information helps us improve the Apps, fix bugs, improve performance, and provide a better user experience.

5. Purchase Information

If the Apps offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as:

  • Purchase status
  • Subscription status
  • Product ID
  • Order ID or transaction ID
  • Expiration or renewal status

This information is used to provide, unlock, manage, and restore paid features. Subscription pricing, billing cycle, auto-renewal, and cancellation terms are described in our Terms of Use.

6. Contact Information

If you contact us for support, we collect:

  • A device-generated identifier and signed request key, used only to authenticate your support session — not tied to your name, email, or Apple ID
  • Message content and any issue category you select
  • Image attachments you choose to include
  • App name, app version, platform, and OS version

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, troubleshoot problems, and improve our services.

7. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide real-time microphone-to-speaker functionality
  • To provide hearing assistance and sound enhancement features
  • To provide recording and playback features when you choose to use them
  • To process audio locally on your device
  • To personalize hearing and audio settings
  • To improve app performance and reliability
  • To fix bugs and crashes
  • To provide customer support
  • To manage purchases and subscriptions
  • To prevent misuse, fraud, or technical abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

8. Microphone Permission

The Apps require microphone permission because their core features depend on real-time audio input.

The microphone permission is used only for features related to:

  • Real-time audio input
  • Audio amplification
  • Hearing assistance
  • Noise reduction
  • Audio monitoring
  • Bluetooth speaker output
  • Sound enhancement
  • Recording
  • Playback
  • Audio processing

We do not use microphone access to secretly listen, record, or monitor users.

We do not record microphone audio without your action or consent.

The Apps may capture microphone audio when you actively use audio features such as real-time listening, sound amplification, hearing assistance, Bluetooth speaker output, recording, or playback-related features. If you enable or allow background operation, the Apps may continue capturing microphone audio while running in the background in order to provide the selected audio feature.

On iOS, background microphone capture is only possible while an active audio session is running (for example, you started real-time hearing assistance or recording before backgrounding the app), consistent with Apple’s background audio capability. iOS stops microphone access automatically once the audio session ends.

On Android, background microphone capture during hearing-assistance sessions runs as a visible foreground service, with a persistent notification shown for as long as the microphone remains active. You can stop this at any time from the notification or within the App.

If you choose to use the recording feature, the Apps may record microphone audio at your request. These recordings may be saved locally on your device so that you can play them back later.

We do not secretly record audio. We do not upload your microphone audio or recordings to our servers unless we clearly state otherwise and you choose to use a feature that requires uploading, sharing, backup, or cloud processing.

9. Bluetooth and Audio Output

The Apps may interact with your device’s audio system to route sound to available audio output devices, such as:

  • Built-in speaker
  • Wired headphones
  • Bluetooth headphones
  • Bluetooth speaker
  • Other supported audio output devices

Bluetooth and audio routing features are used only to provide the Apps’ core audio functionality.

The Apps do not collect personal data from your Bluetooth devices unless explicitly stated.

10. Third-Party Services

The Apps may use the following services to support core functionality:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play — to process purchases and subscriptions via StoreKit / Google Play Billing.
  • Our own backend servers — to activate app features, sync basic usage analytics (app version, feature usage, crash/error events), and validate purchases. Requests to our servers include limited device information (device model, OS name and version) and an app-generated random identifier stored on your device. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID, advertising identifiers, or other cross-app tracking data.

On Android, Hearing Aid App AI – ngHero additionally supports an optional partner/invite-code activation method for eligible organizational partners. This is separate from and unrelated to in-app purchases.

On iOS, this partner/invite-code feature is not available. All paid features on iOS are unlocked exclusively through Apple’s in-app purchase system.

We recommend reviewing Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies for more information about how they handle purchase data.

11. Advertising

The Apps do not currently display third-party advertisements and do not use any advertising SDKs. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any additional permissions (such as App Tracking Transparency) as required before doing so.

12. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information only in the following cases:

  • With service providers that help us operate, improve, or support the Apps
  • With payment processors or app stores to manage purchases and subscriptions
  • With analytics or crash reporting providers to improve app stability
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request
  • To protect the rights, safety, or security of users, our Apps, or others

We do not share microphone audio or recordings with third parties unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it and we clearly explain it.

13. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Microphone audio used for real-time processing is not stored by us.

If you use the recording feature, recordings may be stored locally on your device until you delete them. We do not store these recordings on our servers unless we clearly state otherwise and you choose to use a cloud-related feature.

Hearing-related settings or profiles are stored locally on your device unless clearly stated otherwise.

Support chat messages and attachments may be retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records.

Purchase-related information may be retained as needed to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Crash logs and analytics data may be retained for a limited period according to the policies of our analytics or crash reporting providers.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Apps are not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in your country.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

15. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable practices.

16. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request correction of your data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where applicable

You can also control app permissions, such as microphone access, through your device settings.

To make a privacy-related request, contact us using the contact information below.

17. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws.

Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect your information according to applicable privacy laws.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update the policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
